I recently came across a collection of semi precious round beads , tucked away in my studio. These bead strands were originally owned by my husband’s Uncle Smokey, acquired from his business partner who owned a wholesale jewelry manufacturing business in New York City.

The quality of these beads was inspiring, and I began hunting through some of my own handmade glass beads to to see if I could compliment the natural colors of the various strands. The result is this whimsical series of stretch bracelets. Each bracelet is a one-of-a kind, with its own personality. This is a very limited series…once the gemstone beads are gone, that’s it for the series. I have a greater quantity of some gemstone beads - amethyst, carnelian, black jade - and fewer of others, so at risk of sounding like a high pressure salesperson, if one catches your fancy, don’t hesitate! I am unlikely able to replicate any one of these pieces.
